These authentic antique trade beads were produced in Europe for the African Trade. This strand is composed of several different styles of glass beads. The most prominent bead on this strand is commonly known as the Sotro bead which is characterized by the the yellow stripe superimposed on a black glass oval core. Each long strand consists of approximately 76 individual beads and may vary slightly from strand pictured. Hard to find.
